The academic work of SEE-URBAN-WATER is reflected on the different publications worked within our research group or with external academic actors. They are related to three research areas

  • Hydrological research: Focus on the performance of hydro-physical factors of urban water systems such as the performance of green infrastructure for storage, retention and detention of surface runoff as well as the qualitative aspects of water effluents.
  • Socio-economic research: Our studies approach the nexus between the population, society and nature-based solutions, including aspects of cost, accessibility, management, governance, for instance.
  • Ecological research: It aims to understand the impact of urbanization related to ecological aspects of  local ecosystems with a special emphasis on riparian corridors
